The Instructional Aide supports the classroom teacher in the implementation of educational programs and activities in a Catholic school setting. The aide assists with instruction, supervision, and classroom management, helping to create a nurturing, faith-filled, and academically enriching environment for all students.
Assist the teacher in daily classroom activities, including instructional support and preparation of materials.
Work with individual students or small groups to reinforce lessons and provide personalized guidance.
Supervise students in various settings (e.g., classroom, playground, lunchroom, field trips).
Maintain a safe, organized, and respectful classroom environment.
Assist with clerical duties such as copying, filing, and maintaining records.
Participate in school events, staff meetings, and professional development as required.
Prior experience working with children in an educational setting is strongly preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children.
