Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in Nutrition (or a closely related field).
• RD/RDN credential required.
• Demonstrated experience in professional practice across clinical, community, foodservice management, sustainability, extension, industry, education or related areas.
• Experience instructing a broad scope of nutrition and nutrition-related courses.
• Demonstrated scholarship and/or leadership (e.g., publications, presentations, invited talks).
• Experience in higher education instructional and pedagogical activities with leadership potential.

Responsibilities

• Teach multiple MSND and HNFE courses (3 to 4 courses per semester).
• Assist the MSND director with the general operations of the MSND program as assistant director.
• Engage in curricular innovation and transformation.
• Engage in the scholarship of teaching and learning in HNFE.
• Mentor students from diverse backgrounds and identities.
• Continue development of professional capabilities and scholarly activities, including travel to conferences; participate in department, college, university service; professional service.
• Enhance experiential learning opportunities (supervised practice) for dietetics graduate students in HNFE.
