Job summary

University of Central Florida invites applications for a 12-month, non-tenure earning lecturer position in the Department of Health Sciences. The successful candidate will teach required undergraduate nutrition courses, participate in curriculum development, and contribute to Graduate Dietetics programs.

They will also serve as Undergraduate Program Coordinator, collaborating with leadership, faculty, staff, and university partners to enhance curricular practices.

Qualifications

• Must hold a doctoral degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, Leadership, or closely related field from an accredited institution.
• Credentialed as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) by the CDR.
• Minimum two academic years of college-level teaching experience as the instructor of record.

Responsibilities

• Teach required undergraduate nutrition courses and contribute to the forthcoming graduate program.
• Coordinate undergraduate curriculum review, assess plans, results, and program improvements.
• Serve as Undergraduate Program Coordinator and collaborate with faculty, staff, and university partners.
• Engage in departmental, college, and university committees and professional development.
