Job summary

Corgi is seeking experienced institutional sales traders with established client relationships to grow our business across US equities, options, fixed income and international markets. Join a growing institutional sales-trading business serving long-only asset managers, pension funds and hedge funds.

The platform includes agency-only equity brokerage, high-touch trading, program trading and algorithmic execution, institutional options and fixed income execution, and a 24/6 live global trading

Qualifications

• Five or more years of institutional sales-trading experience.
• Candidates with fewer years considered if they cover their own accounts.
• Series 7 and 63 registrations required; more registrations may be needed depending on activities.
• A bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage institutional client relationships.
• Execute client orders and provide market color, liquidity insight and execution guidance.
• Identify and onboard new institutional clients.
• Introduce clients to relevant capabilities across the platform.
• Coordinate with trading, operations and compliance throughout the trade lifecycle.
• Maintain accurate order handling, reporting and records.

Who We’re Looking For

We’re seeking entrepreneurial sales traders who bring:

• Established institutional buy-side relationships and a demonstrated record of generating revenue
• Experience developing business driven primarily by client-initiated order flow
• An understanding of institutional investors’ execution needs
• Strong communication skills and long-term client relationships
• Accountability, collaboration and disciplined execution
• An interest in helping build and grow the desk
• A desire to work in a commission-based environment

Candidates should generally have five or more years of institutional sales-trading experience. We’ll also consider candidates with fewer years who already cover their own institutional accounts.

Series 7 and 63 registrations are required, with Series 57 and additional registrations required depending on assigned activities. Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain all registrations and approvals required for the role. A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
