Role Overview

We are seeking an Institutional Sales Associate to own a defined segment of allocator coverage for RoboStrategy while supporting the firm’s senior distribution mandates. This is a coverage role, not a support role: you will carry your own relationships, originate your own meetings, and be accountable for the progression of your own pipeline.

We are looking for a professional who is already in fund distribution and ready to take on more responsibility than their current seat allows. You should bring an existing network of allocator, advisor, or intermediary relationships appropriate to your level, and the experience to develop it: prior exposure to allocator diligence, DDQ and RFP processes, and the mechanics of raising for a fund. Experience at a publicly listed fund is preferred; candidates from private funds with transferable relationships and process experience will also be considered.

The role offers substantial and expanding ownership. As the distribution function scales, your coverage grows with it, and the progression to a senior coverage seat is a defined path rather than a possibility. You will work closely with the Director of Institutional Sales and the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) on the firm’s largest mandates while running your own book.

What You’ll Do
  • Own your coverage. Carry a defined segment of institutional, family office, and RIA relationships; originate meetings, manage follow-through, and progress allocations within it.
  • Bring your network. Engage the relationships you have built in prior fund distribution roles and develop them on behalf of the platform.
  • Manage diligence processes. Draft and maintain DDQ and RFP responses, data requests, and allocator presentations to an institutional standard.
  • Support senior mandates. Prepare materials, participate in meetings, and manage execution alongside the Director of Institutional Sales and the CCO on the firm’s largest opportunities.
  • Maintain the pipeline. Own CRM discipline, target-list management, and coverage reporting across the distribution function.
  • Monitor the market. Track allocator activity, peer funds, and flows, and surface intelligence that informs targeting and positioning.
Core Qualifications
  • 3-6 years in fund distribution or capital raising at an asset manager or fund platform. Experience at a publicly listed fund is preferred; private fund experience is also relevant. This is a prerequisite: we are not considering candidates from unrelated backgrounds.
  • An existing network of allocator, advisor, or intermediary relationships appropriate to your level, with examples of relationships you have originated or developed.
  • Direct experience with allocator diligence processes, including DDQs, RFPs, and data requests.
  • Evidence of contribution to raised assets in prior roles, with the ability to describe your specific role in those outcomes.
  • Strong written and verbal communication to an institutional standard.
  • FINRA Series 7 and 63 (or willingness to obtain promptly); progress toward CFA or CIMA a plus.
Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Ready for more ownership than their current seat provides, and motivated by being measured on coverage outcomes.
  • Rigorous with detail and follow-through; allocator processes reward consistency over months.
  • Genuine conviction in robotics and frontier technology, with the commitment to learn the strategy in depth.
  • High judgment and discretion with sensitive information in a regulated, publicly listed context.
  • Proficient with modern AI tools to extend research, preparation, and coverage capacity.
