GEO Reentry Services LLC in Nome, AK is seeking a full-time cook for the facility’s food service operation. Under general supervision, you will prepare meats, fish, poultry, gravies, cereals, soups, vegetables and other foods, following the facility's menu plan.

You will train detainee staff, manage production scheduling, maintain records, order supplies, ensure sanitation, and support management in maintaining client relations.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent education required.
• College credits or relevant technical training in food service preferred.
• Minimum two years experience in large-scale food production in commercial or institutional settings.
• Valid, active driver's license.

Aufgaben

• Cooks food as directed in the facility menu plan and maintains production records.
• Directs work and trains detainee food service staff.
• Conducts orientation and training programs for staff employees.
• Manages preparation scheduling and quality assurance of all foods and supplies.
• Places orders for food and supplies and inventories items.
• Ensures sanitation and safety programs are followed.
• Assists management in maintaining client relations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
