Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year experience as a cook in an institutional setting preferred.
• Knowledge of safe food handling practices.

Responsibilities

• Supervises culinary center's employees in absence of Chef.
• Handles and stores food according to procedures and regulations.
• Follows standardized recipes.
• Cooks meals per RD-developed menus.
• Ensures meals are served at proper temperatures.
• Maintains clean workspaces and equipment.
• Reports equipment problems.
