Job summary

Sanford Health in Iron Mountain, MI is seeking a Cook to join our Food Services team. The Cook prepares meals for patients, the cafeteria, and outreach programs, following recipes and production sheets to ensure timely service. HACCP guidelines are followed to maintain food safety and quality.

Qualifications

• One year of experience as a cook in institutional or hospital food service.
• Must be able to work cooperatively with others and handle varied work conditions.
• ServSafe certification preferred by the National Restaurant Association.

Responsibilities

• Prepare individual servings and large quantities of meals per recipes.
• Follow production sheets and HACCP guidelines to ensure food safety.
• Portion, weigh, and garnish items for accurate serving.
• Clean, sanitize, and rotate stock to maintain a safe workstation.
• Support quality assurance and assist with daily food production tasks.
