Job summary

Crestwood Behavioral Health, Inc. is seeking a Cook to stock, prepare, and serve meals to clients and staff at our Riverside, CA campus. You will interact with clients and staff in a caring, professional manner while supporting a new facility opening in early 2027 and December training for staff.

The role requires familiarity with institutional diets and sanitary health codes. This campus offers a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for growth within a leading behavioral health

Qualifications

• High school diploma desired.
• Previous experience as an institutional Cook/Chef desired.
• Understand basic principles of all common facility therapeutic and texture modified diets and properly serve foods designated for these diets.
• Experience in supervising food service staff desired.
• Must know proper health code sanitary techniques in all food service areas, including safe temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Stock, prepare, and serve food to clients and staff.
• Interact with clients and facility staff in a caring and professional manner.
• This is an exciting new campus with a tentative open date of January 4, 2027. Staff will begin staff training in December.
