Custom Truck Accessories in Reno, NV is hiring a full-time Installer Technician to join our growing team. You will hand-build professional installations of aftermarket truck and RV parts in our shop, with a strong emphasis on safety, precision, and craftsmanship.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as an aftermarket installer or in a related automotive role.
• Suspension experience preferred.
• Strong technical and mechanical skills with proven attention to detail.
• Problem-solving mindset with ability to adapt to new products or situations.
• Must be reliable, professional, and a strong team player.
• Own a core set of automotive tools (company provides specialty tools as needed).
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Professionally install a wide range of truck and RV aftermarket accessories, including shells, nerf bars, wheels/tires, suspension & lift kits, lighting, racks, bed liners, wiring, and performance parts.
• Follow proper procedures to ensure safe, clean, and consistent installations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges quickly and effectively.
• Partner with sales staff to review work orders and ensure accuracy before starting jobs.
• Communicate clearly with team members to keep jobs on track and customers updated.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Support and uphold a positive shop culture of respect, teamwork, and pride in work.
