Job summary

Acorn Stairlifts, Inc. is seeking an Installer in Orlando, FL to install, service and repair stairlift systems at customers’ homes, ensuring safety and quality on every job. You will diagnose issues and provide technical support on operation and maintenance of equipment.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, willingness to travel, lifting up to 100 pounds, and strong interpersonal and communication skills. Training is provided; attractive benefits include medical, dental, vision and 401(k).

Qualifications

• Performs service, repair and/or installation of stairlift products.
• Diagnoses mechanical, hardware, and system failures using established procedures.
• Provides technical support to customers on operational or maintenance aspects of equipment.
• Experience in Cable, Home Improvements, HVAC or Security/Alarm a plus.
• Demonstrates interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
• Must regularly lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
• Willing to travel and work long hours; weekends may be required.
• Driver's license required; prolonged vehicle operation may be needed.

Due to our rapid growth, we are seeking skilled and highly motivated Installers who will act as the face of our company for your local market. The individual will perform service, repair and/or installation of stairlift products. Provides technical support to customers on operational or maintenance aspects of equipment. Diagnoses mechanical, hardware, and system failures, using established procedures.

Cable, Home Improvements, HVAC and Security/Alarm experience a plus.

Interpersonal, Organizational, Problem Solving and Communication skills.

Maturity and ability to deal effectively with the job requirements.

Commits to long hours of work and travel when necessary to reach goals; weekends may be required.

Drivers' license required; prolonged amounts of time operating a vehicle.
