Job summary

ZINTEX Remodeling Group is seeking an Acrylic Shower/Bath Installer to join as a 1099 contractor in the Kansas City area. The installer will handle accurate and professional installations, with responsibilities spanning demo, replacement, plumbing, and possible flooring or cabinet work.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in carpentry or home renovation, own a truck with enclosed trailer, and possess the tools to complete projects. Valid license and reliable transport are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years in carpentry, trim carpentry, construction or in-home renovation.

Responsibilities

• Install acrylic bath/shower systems per procedures.
• Demolish, replace or expand tubs/showers and install new plumbing valves and fixtures.
• Perform related tasks such as flooring, drywall work, and cabinetry as needed.
• Maintain professionalism and protect client property during installations.
• Complete paperwork and photos for each project.

Acrylic Shower/Bath Installer - 1099 Contractor

Must have a truck with enclosed trailer, box truck, or full-size van to transport materials to the home sites and must have tools to complete projects (1099 position)

Responsibilities

• The Installer is responsible for the accurate and professional installation of all our products at the job site according to our procedures and to the customer’s satisfaction.
• Successfully demo, replace and/or expand tub or shower, install all new plumbing valves, PEX, new fixtures, new acrylic wall surrounds.
• Projects may also include new luxury vinyl flooring, cabinets, countertops, some drywall work/repair—so installers must have a well-rounded construction background.
• Adhere to all ZINTEX Remodeling Group's installation standards and procedures while doing installations and providing services.
• Maintain a pleasant and professional attitude when dealing with customers.
• Respect customers' property and leave the work area clean.
• Always maintain a professional appearance when on a project in our customer's home.
• Inform customers about the functionality, care and upkeep of their new tub/shower.
• Accurately complete and submit all necessary paperwork and photos.

Qualifications

• Possess a high school diploma, GED or equivalent education.
• Possess 2+ years of carpentry, trim carpentry, construction or in-home renovation experience with the ability to take accurate measurements using tape measure, level & combination square.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and maintain a good driving record.
• Basic plumbing knowledge preferred.
• Ability to use power tools (drill, jigsaw, etc.).
• Ability to lift and/or push and/or pull up to 100 pounds.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Reasoning ability enabling you to understand and carry out detailed written, illustrated or oral instructions.
• Problem solver.
• Personal enclosed trailer preferred, but not required.
• Work independently.
• Solid work ethic.
• Experience with one of the following is a plus: Carpentry, Ceramic tile, Floor coverings, Light plumbing, General remodeling.
