Job summary

Andersen Corporation in Minnesota seeks a skilled Window and Door Installer to join our field teams. You will load materials, drive to Brainerd and satellite locations weekly, and prepare openings for installations with precision.

Expect to install Fibrex trims, perform safe extractions, and maintain vehicles per policy while delivering homeowner delight and quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
• Window and Door installation experience.
• Valid Driver’s License with ability to pass a fleet check and weekly truck driving to Brainerd and satellite locations.

Responsibilities

• Locate and load all necessary job-site materials from the material sheet.
• Perform opening preparation for installations (inserts and Full Frame with Brickmold).
• Install Fibrex L trim, F trim, and Flat trim with accurate cuts.
• Safely extract old windows/doors without property damage.
• Maintain vehicle per Fleet Policy and assist in homeowner delight.

Job Description

Everything we do is centered on providing a world class homeowner experience through the process of installing RbA’s windows and doors

Primary Responsibilities

• Able to locate, identify, and load all necessary job site materials from material sheet
• *MUST HAVE VALID LICENSE* This job does require driving company truck to Brainerd and other satellite locations weekly.*
• Perform proper opening preparation for all types of installations, including inserts and Full Frame with Brickmold
• Performs basic aluminum bending (L flange, drip caps, flat rectangles/coil wrap)
• Ability to understand and install proper flashing based on install method, including drip caps, L flange, and new construction.
• Ability to make straight cuts to accurate dimensions within 1/32”
• Ability to safely extract old windows and doors without damaging property
• Ability to install Fibrex L trim, F trim, and Flat trim
• Ability to extract old windows and doors safely and without damaging property
• Knowledge of service parts, procedures, and product operations
• Audit all truck stock, tools, products without supervision
• Address installation concerns with Field Techs or Installation Manager
• Maintains company vehicle in accordance with Fleet Policy
• Demonstrates responsible attendance and punctuality
• Assist in delivering homeowner delight
• Other duties as assigned
• General warehouse support
• Provide technical measure functions when needed
• Provide service support as needed
• Provides directions to Installer Level I

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience
• Window and Door installation experience
• Ability to dismantle and reassemble windows, window coverings and hardware
• General understanding and knowledge of OSHA regulations and safe work practices in construction environments
• Safety knowledge of all equipment
• Proper usage and understanding of PPE
• Valid Driver’s License with ability to pass a fleet check *MUST HAVE VALID LICENSE* This job does require driving company truck to Brainerd and other satellite locations weekly.*

• Consistently provides flawless first-time window and door installation
• CORO Safety and Compliance required training
• First Aid/CPR – Every 2 years
• OSHA 10-hr Construction Safety – Every 2 years
• Ad hoc trainings as assigned

Pay Range

$18.88 - $28.32

PROFIT SHARING:

In 2026 Andersen has set a profit-sharing target of $3,600 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate. Profit Sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
