Service Experts Heating & Air Conditioning is hiring an Installer Helper to support HVAC equipment installation in customers' homes. You will assist with wiring, ductwork, and accessory installs under supervision, ensuring quality and safety while maintaining a professional appearance and attitude.

Key Responsibilities

• Assists under direct supervision of the Installer or Lead Installer to install HVAC equipment and accessories in the customer’s home.


• Assists with installation of heating, air conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration equipment, as well as accessories, in accordance with company requirements and manufacturer specifications.


• Assists in the installation of ducts and duct fittings.


• Performs duties to deliver excellent customer service and sustain high levels of customer satisfaction.


• Assists in the delivery and removal of equipment needed to complete the installation work.


• Assists in ensuring company property, vehicles, and tools are used, maintained, and properly accounted for.


• Completes all paperwork neatly, accurately, thoroughly, and in a timely manner as required.


• Represents the company professionally, honestly, and ethically in all business matters.


• Maintains a clean installation vehicle with the Installer.


• Performs similar or other duties as needed or assigned.


• Ensures regular, reliable attendance.

Desired Skills and Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 0 to 2 years’ experience in HVAC; additional technical training certification preferred.


• Valid licensing or certification as required by federal, state, provincial, or local laws, including EPA and safety certifications.


• Basic knowledge of fundamentals of heating, air conditioning, and ventilation equipment and related accessories.


• Mechanical aptitude and ability to operate or learn to operate necessary tools and equipment.


• Basic skills in reading wiring diagrams.


• Effective communication skills to interact with customers and provide excellent service.


• Effective and efficient time‑management and organizational skills.


• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.


• Availability to work flexible hours and on‑call shifts.


• Physical ability to stand, walk, climb ladders, attic stairs, and maneuver in attics, basements, and crawl spaces.


• Physical ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, safely climb 30‑lb tool belt.


• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.


• Visual acuity adequate for close, distance, peripheral vision with normal depth perception.

Minimum Experience and Education
