Job Description - Install Technician

Willco Sales and Service is a specialty construction company based in New England. We install and service products such as Operable Partitions, Overhead Coiling Doors, Compactors, Chutes, and various hardware. Our service area covers Connecticut, Rhode Island, and Massachusetts.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the installation of Chutes and Compactors in Hartford and New Haven areas.
• Perform new installations of Willco products, mainly Trash Chutes and Trash Compactors.
• Problem solve in the field.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical skills; electrical skills are a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Self-motivated and detail-oriented.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Welding experience preferred but not required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• OSHA Certification and adherence to OSHA construction attire guidelines.

Work Details

• Hours: 6:30 AM - 3:30 PM
• Position perks include all necessary tools and overtime opportunities.
• Company benefits include two weeks paid time off (after 3 months), retirement plan (after 3 years), and health benefits (after 3 months).
• Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
• Schedule: Monday to Friday
• Location: On the road, with relocation to New Haven, CT required before starting.
