Role Description

This full-time Installer role is an on-site position based in West Jordan, UT. The Installer is responsible for preparing concrete surfaces, mixing and applying coatings, and assisting with polished concrete, epoxy, urethane cement, MMA, and traffic coating installations. Daily tasks include using power tools and equipment safely, following project specifications and drawings, and maintaining clean, organized job sites. The role also involves loading and unloading materials, supporting concrete repair and flatwork activities, and collaborating closely with the foreperson and project manager to meet schedule and quality standards. Installers are expected to follow all safety protocols, participate in jobsite documentation, and interact professionally with teammates, vendors, and clients.

Qualifications

• Concrete and coatings skills: ability to perform surface preparation, install polished concrete, epoxy, urethane cement, and other coating systems, and assist with concrete repair and flatwork.
• Construction tools and safety: proficiency with hand and power tools, floor grinders, mixers, and related equipment, with a strong commitment to OSHA and company safety practices.
• Technical and documentation skills: capacity to follow written specifications, drawings, and installation procedures, and support documentation-driven project processes (measurements, photos, daily reports).
• Physical and work environment readiness: ability to lift and carry materials, stand, bend, and kneel for extended periods, and work in varying indoor and outdoor conditions.
• Teamwork and communication: reliable work habits, effective communication with supervisors and crew members, and positive collaboration on fast-paced job sites.
• Transportation and schedule: dependable transportation to West Jordan and surrounding project sites, and availability for full-time schedules that may include occasional overtime.
• Preferred experience and credentials: prior experience in concrete, flooring, or general construction; familiarity with industrial/commercial environments; and willingness to complete manufacturer and safety certifications provided by the company.
