Job summary

Thermo King dealership is seeking an Installer to install equipment and ensure installations meet customer needs. You will diagnose issues using EDITH, perform preventive maintenance, and complete work orders with attention to safety and cleanliness.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED; a technical degree or certification is a plus, and you should own a basic toolset and possess a valid driver’s license with a clean record.

Qualifications

$3,000 Sign on bonus

The Installer is responsible for installing parts and equipment for the Thermo King dealership.

Essential Functions:

• Install new and used Thermo King equipment by following established processes and procedures
• Ensure each install is consistent with the next and meets the install standard and customer’s needs
• Diagnose issues with re-installed equipment using EDITH diagnostic software
• Perform PMs such as oil changes and inspections
• Complete work orders with all required information according to service policy
• Communicate effectively with customers
• Maintain a high level of cleanliness

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Requires a high school diploma or general education diploma (GED)
• Technical degree or certification is a plus
• Verbal and written communication skills
• Basic computer skills
• Problem solving skills
• Trouble shooting skills
• Exhibit a strong mechanical aptitude
• Possess a clean driving record
• Pass a DOT approved physical
• Work with common hand tools as well as scissor lifts and forklifts
• Work comfortably on a ladder
• Must have your own set of basic hand tools and toolbox.
