Job summary

Sanco Thermo King is seeking an Installer to install Thermo King equipment at our Minnesota location. You will follow established procedures to ensure high-quality installs that meet customer needs and maintain a clean work environment.

The role involves diagnosing issues with re-installed units using EDITH software, performing PMs, and completing work orders while communicating clearly with customers. A clean driving record and ability to work with ladders and lifts are required.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED.
• Technical degree or certification is a plus.
• Verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Basic computer skills are expected.
• Must possess a clean driving record and pass a DOT physical.

Responsibilities

$3,000 Sign on bonus

The Installer is responsible for installing parts and equipment for the Thermo King dealership.

Essential Functions:

• Install new and used Thermo King equipment by following established processes and procedures
• Ensure each install is consistent with the next and meets the install standard and customer's needs
• Diagnose issues with re-installed equipment using EDITH diagnostic software
• Perform PMs such as oil changes and inspections
• Complete work orders with all required information according to service policy
• Communicate effectively with customers
• Maintain a high level of cleanliness

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Requires a high school diploma or general education diploma (GED)
• Technical degree or certification is a plus
• Verbal and written communication skills
• Basic computer skills
• Problem solving skills
• Trouble shooting skills
• Exhibit a strong mechanical aptitude
• Possess a clean driving record
• Pass a DOT approved physical
• Work with common hand tools as well as scissor lifts and forklifts
• Work comfortably on a ladder
• Must have your own set of basic hand tools and toolbox.
