Staffmark Group in Abilene, TX is hiring an Installation Trainee to start a hands-on career in the installation field. You’ll receive training while supporting projects from warehouse to job site, with a steady Monday–Friday schedule and a $19.00/hour pay rate.

Qualifications

• Entry-level to early-career experience; 1 year of installation experience preferred.
• Background in flooring, cabinets, fabrication, or related trade is a plus.
• Proactive, problem-solving mindset with a strong work ethic.
• Valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical, hands-on work.
• Basic computer skills and willingness to learn scheduling systems.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Welding ability is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate material installations with customers to support on-time completion.
• Work with warehouse manager to stage materials for daily installs.
• Visit job sites to assist with installations and learn hands-on processes.
• Read and interpret scopes of work, plans, and installation schedules.
• Receive, document, and track inventory entering and leaving the warehouse.
• Update project schedules using software and live spreadsheets.
• Communicate effectively with installers to support teamwork and productivity.
