Job summary

Doist is seeking an Installation Tech to install luxury, 100% custom storage systems in residential and commercial spaces. The role requires 5+ years of relevant experience and proficiency with hand and power tools, plus the ability to read measurements and CAD drawings.

You will provide excellent customer service on-site and maintain safety at all times. The position offers a 4-day work week with a pay rate of $28–$33/hr, plus health insurance, PTO, and a 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience with hand and power tools.
• Ability to read measurements and work from CAD drawings.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Experience installing in residential and commercial spaces.

Responsibilities

• Perform skilled and semi-skilled carpentry to install custom storage systems (closets, cabinets, offices).
• Use CAD drawings/blueprints to install systems accurately.
• Assemble and install systems of varying complexity.
• Assist in removal and installation of materials at client sites.
• Maintain tools and equipment in safe working order.
• Install systems independently or with a team depending on job size.
• Provide high level of customer service during in-home installations.
• Maintain safety standards at all times.
• Drive to/from customer sites using company vehicle.

The Installation Tech installs custom designed residential and commercial storage systems and accessories using a variety of luxury materials. A successful candidate will have experience with hand and power tools, measurements and the ability to provide exceptional customer service to our clients.

The pay for this opportunity is $28-$33/hr and comes with a 4 day work week

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform skilled and semi-skilled carpentry work to install custom storage systems such as closets, cabinets, offices, and other spaces in the home or commercial buildings.


• Utilize company-provided CAD drawings\blueprints to install systems properly and efficiently.


• Assemble and install systems of varying complexity.


• Assists in the removal and installation of materials in customer homes.


• Maintain shop tools and equipment in safe working order (tools are provided).


• Install systems independently or with team members depending on the size of the job.


• Provide a high level of customer service for in-home installations.


• Maintain safety standards at all time.


• Responsible for driving to and from customer sites and operating a company-provided vehicles in a safe manner.


• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.
