Job summary

ADT Security Services seeks a Residential Installation Technician in Tacoma, WA. You will evaluate customer needs, design, install, and educate customers on their home security system, ensuring proper functionality and signal reception.

You will work closely with customers to tailor the solution to their location. Residential Install Technicians provide safe, high-quality installations with ongoing support and recommendations, while maintaining a customer-focused mindset and professionalism on

Qualifications

• Installation experience preferred.
• Customer-focused and customer-driven mindset.
• Technical aptitude.
• Strong verbal communication.
• Valid driver's license.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Electronic Trade School training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work with the customer to determine the optimal system and equipment to meet their needs.
• Install and test the operations of all equipment to ensure proper functionality and signal reception required to establish service.
• Evaluate the information provided and work with the customer to provide the best possible solution for their location.
• Identify opportunities to improve the use and functionality of the customer's system and provide recommendations.
• Pursue safety practices to safeguard against injury and damage to property.
• Assure against loss of unused materials, ladders, and tools on a job site or office location.
• Collect all debris, patch any holes, and clean the site, leaving it in better condition than when started.
• Support other duties to help drive our vision, fulfill our mission and abide by our organization’s values.
• Work in a dynamic, collaborative environment, working closely with customers and coworkers.
• Provide solutions by visiting customers at their homes or businesses.
