Job summary

Securitas Technology in Kansas City is seeking an Installation Technician II to install and configure intrusion, fire, CCTV and access control systems at customer sites. You will run wiring, coordinate with project leads, test installations, and ensure safety and compliance.

Position requires 3–5 years of field experience, multiple certifications, data center exposure a plus, and a valid license. Attractive benefits and growth opportunities accompany this role.

Qualifications

• MUST HAVE 3–5 years of experience installing/servicing intrusion, fire alarm, access control, and CCTV systems.
• 2 Video Certifications and 1 Access Control Certification are preferred.
• Data Center experience is a plus.
• High School Diploma or equivalent Vocational/Technical Degree in electrical, security, or computer systems is preferred.
• Lenel, Pro-Watch, Software House and Picture Perfect certifications are preferred.
• IP Video and IT experience are preferred.
• Must be able to climb ladders up to 24 ft and carry items up to 75 pounds.
• A valid state driver's license without restrictions is required.

Responsibilities

• Stay current with product and technology updates through ongoing training.

Title: Installation Technician II

Position Description

We currently have an Installation Technician opening for team-oriented individuals possessing vocational training in electronics or electromechanical engineering. As an Installation Technician, you will be responsible for providing installation and configuration services on Securitas Technology products at customer sites. You will also handle special projects or tasks as they come up.

Requirements

• MUST HOLD a minimum of 3-5 years of experience installing and/or servicing intrusion, fire alarm, access control, and CCTV security systems.
• 2 Video Certifications and 1 Access Control Certifications.
• Experience working in Data Centers a plus.
• High School Diploma or equivalent Vocational/Technical Degree in electrical, security, or computer systems preferred.
• Lenel, Pro-Watch, Software House, Picture Perfect certifications preferred.
• Bosch, Honeywell, Radionics, or DMP system knowledge preferred.
• IP Video and IT experience preferred.
• Climb ladders that extend up to 24 ft. in height.
• Carry items up to 75 pounds.
• A valid state driver's license, without restrictions, is required.
