Job summary

Securitas Technology is seeking an Installation Technician III to provide installation and configuration services on our security products at customer sites. You will lead on-site tasks, coordinate with project management, and ensure systems meet contract requirements.

The role requires 5+ years of experience with intrusion, fire, CCTV, and access control systems, plus relevant certifications. A valid driver’s license, ability to lift 75 pounds, and willingness to travel or work at customer

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years installing and/or servicing intrusion, fire alarm, access control, and CCTV systems.
• 3 Video Certifications and 2 Access Control Certifications preferred.
• Experience working in Data Centers a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure intrusion, fire, CCTV, and access control systems.
• Run electrical wiring in confined spaces including drilling, trenching, and aerial work.
• Complete system wiring and equipment setup to meet contract requirements.
• Coordinate with Team Lead or Project Manager on scheduling and equipment delivery.
• Test and troubleshoot new installations for functionality and code compliance.
• Maintain professional appearance and adhere to safety and cost guidelines.
• Foster positive customer relationships and support contract retention.
• Handle proprietary information per company policies.
• Stay current with product and technology updates through ongoing training.

Title: Installation Technician III

Position Description

We currently have an Installation Technician opening for team-oriented individuals possessing vocational training in electronics or electromechanical engineering. As an Installation Technician, you will be responsible for providing installation and configuration services on Securitas Technology products at customer sites. You will also handle special projects or tasks as they come up.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure intrusion, fire, CCTV, and access control systems.
• Run electrical wiring in confined spaces, including drilling, trenching, and aerial work.
• Complete system wiring and equipment setup to meet customer and contract requirements.
• Coordinate with Team Lead or Project Manager on scheduling and equipment delivery.
• Test and troubleshoot new installations to ensure functionality and code compliance.
• Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to safety and cost guidelines.

Requirements

• MUST HOLD a minimum of 5+ years of experience installing and/or servicing intrusion, fire alarm, access control, and CCTV security systems.
• 3 Video Certifications and 2 Access Control Certifications
• Experience working in Data Centers a plus
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Vocational/Technical Degree in electrical, security, or computer systems preferred
• Lenel, Pro-Watch, Software House, Picture Perfect certifications preferred
• Bosch, Honeywell, Radionics, or DMP system knowledge preferred
• IP Video and IT experience preferred
• Climb ladders that extend up to 24 ft. in height
• Carry items up to 75 pounds
• A valid state driver’s license, without restrictions, is required.
