Job summary

Securitas Technology is seeking an Installation Technician III to install and commission intrusion, fire, CCTV, and access control systems at customer sites. You will run wiring, configure equipment, and ensure code compliance while coordinating with project teams.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in the field, multiple video and access control certifications, and a technical/vocational background. A valid driver's license and willingness to travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years installing/servicing intrusion, fire alarm, access control, and CCTV systems.
• 3 Video Certifications and 2 Access Control Certifications.
• Data Center experience is a plus.
• Vocational/Technical degree preferred; HS diploma required.
• Certifications in Lenel, Pro-Watch, Software House, or Picture Perfect preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure intrusion, fire, CCTV, and access control systems.
• Run electrical wiring, install equipment, and meet contract requirements.
• Coordinate scheduling and equipment delivery with team leads.
• Test installations for functionality and code compliance.
• Maintain safety and professional appearance; support contract retention.

Title: Installation Technician III

Position Description

We currently have an Installation Technician opening for team-oriented individuals possessing vocational training in electronics or electromechanical engineering. As an Installation Technician, you will be responsible for providing installation and configuration services on Securitas Technology products at customer sites. You will also handle special projects or tasks as they come up.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure intrusion, fire, CCTV, and access control systems.
• Run electrical wiring in confined spaces, including drilling, trenching, and aerial work.
• Complete system wiring and equipment setup to meet customer and contract requirements.
• Coordinate with Team Lead or Project Manager on scheduling and equipment delivery.
• Test and troubleshoot new installations to ensure functionality and code compliance.
• Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to safety and cost guidelines.
• Foster positive customer relationships and support contract retention.
• Handle proprietary information and documentation per company policies.
• Stay current with product and technology updates through ongoing training

Requirements

• MUST HOLD a minimum of 5+ years of experience installing and/or servicing intrusion, fire alarm, access control, and CCTV security systems.
• 3 Video Certifications and 2 Access Control Certifications
• Experience working in Data Centers a plus
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Vocational/Technical Degree in electrical, security, or computer systems preferred
• Lenel, Pro-Watch, Software House, Picture Perfect certifications preferred
• Bosch, Honeywell, Radionics, or DMP system knowledge preferred
• IP Video and IT experience preferred
• Climb ladders that extend up to 24 ft. in height
• Carry items up to 75 pounds
• A valid state driver’s license, without restrictions, is required.
