Kastle Systems International, LLC is seeking a skilled install technician in Falls Church, VA. You will install, test, and troubleshoot CCTV, access control, and security systems while ensuring on-time delivery per Kastle standards.

Strong electronics background and tool proficiency are essential for success. Responsibilities include coordinating with project managers, maintaining inventory, and coaching junior team members.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience installing access control, video systems or related electronic systems.
• Technical school certificate a plus.
• Mechanical aptitude and knowledge of hand/power tools.
• Strong electronics knowledge and ability to use digital voltmeters.
• Knowledge of Serial Communication (RS232, RS485).
• Basic knowledge of IP, Ethernet, and networking protocol and Cat5 technologies.
• Construction experience and knowledge of door hardware, locking devices and building codes.

• Ensures proper installation on time per Kastle procedures and QC standards.
• Reports potential barriers to timely project execution and coordinates with managers.
• Provides regular progress updates to stakeholders and documents work.
• Maintains inventory for vehicles and projects and performs counts as needed.
• Coaches team members on installation procedures and quality standards.
• Maintains keys and communicates with customers, contractors, and staff.
• Stays up to date on Kastle services, tech, and internal processes.

Responsibilities

• Installs, tests, and troubleshoots new CCTV, access control, and security systems.
• Ensures that systems are installed properly and on time in accordance with Kastle's procedures and quality control standards.
• Provides feedback and information to identify any potential barriers to timely execution of the project, such as construction delays or changes.
• Communicates with managers and Project Manager to resolve discrepancies or issues.
• Provides regular progress updates to all stakeholders.
• Provides accurate documentation for completed work.
• Responsible for providing proper documentation for inventory control and for maintaining proper inventory for vehicles and projects. Must be available to perform end of year and interim inventory counts.
• Maintains assigned company-owned vehicles, tools, equipment, and individual tool issue.
• Responsible for the behavior and performance of assigned team members.
• Coaches assigned team members on the Kastle installation procedures and quality control standards. Reports any issues to the department Managers.
• Maintains and protects building keys to customer buildings.
• Communicates with customers, customer representatives, contractors and Kastle staff as necessary to install and test equipment.
• Stays up to date and knowledgeable in Kastle services, technology as well as internal processes and procedures.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ successful experience installing access control, video systems or other related electronic systems.
• Technical school certificate a plus but not required.
• Mechanical aptitude and thorough knowledge of hand and power tools.
• Strong electronics knowledge/background (AC/DC theory, series and parallel circuits, open/close loops) and ability and knowledge to use digital volt meters.
• Knowledge of Serial Communication (RS232, RS485).
• Basic knowledge of IP, Ethernet, and networking protocol and Cat5 technologies.
• Professional construction experience and knowledge of door hardware, electric and mechanical locking devices and building codes pertaining to construction, fire, and electrical systems.

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $60,000-$70,000 annually, depending on experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors. This range reflects base pay only and may not include bonus, commission, equity, or other incentive compensation, where applicable. Actual offers are determined individually based on the candidate's qualifications and internal equity considerations.
