Job summary

AT&T is seeking an Installation Technician in Milwaukee, WI to install and activate state-of-the-art technology for customers in homes and businesses. You will work independently, provide high-quality service, and meet new people daily while solving problems.

You will need a valid driver's license, ability to lift up to 60 lbs, and flexibility for evenings, weekends, and overtime. Comprehensive benefits and a generous sign-on bonus are offered.

Qualifications

• Valid state driver's license required.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and work in small spaces or aloft.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, overtime and holidays.
• Able to identify wire and cable colors and complete pre-employment assessments.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Install and activate high-speed broadband, Wi-Fi, and voice services at customer sites.
• Provide best-in-class service and troubleshoot issues on site.
• Meet new customers daily and ensure a seamless installation experience.
• Work independently as a trusted expert while following safety guidelines.

OurInstallation Techniciansearn between$25.39 and $32.21hourly.With our amazing wage opportunities, our average starting earnings begin at$52,06per year. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.

What’s a typical day like? You’ll work independently at our customer’s homes and businesses as a trusted expert, installing the latest technology for high-speed broadband, Wi‑Fi, and voice services. You’ll have the opportunity to meet new people every day while solving problems and being rewarded for doing great work. Whether you’re putting in a new line, climbing a ladder or simply plugging in and activating a wifi network, one thing is true, no two days will be the same.

Want to be considered? You’ll need to:

• Work a flexible schedule, including evenings andweekends.

• Possess a valid state driver’slicense.

• Lift and move up-to 60 lbs – some of our ladders weigh 50-60 lbs

• Weigh less than 325lbs., required for laddersafety.

• At times work in smallspaces or aloft (up to 28 ft.)

• Be available for overtime, emergency callouts and holidaywork.

• Identify wire and cablecolors.

• Qualify on pre-employmentassessments.

• Have a High School Diploma or GED

**Sign-on bonus is paid out as follows:
Payout Schedule:

• $ 1,000 after completion of ninety (90) days of service(Employee must have no COBC violations and no written disciplinary actions)
• $ 1,500 after completion of six (6) months of service(Employee must have no COBC violations and no written disciplinary actions)
• $ 2,500 after completion of one (1) year of service(Employee must have no COBC violations and no written disciplinary actions
