AT&T is hiring Installation Technicians in Shelby, North Carolina. You will independently install broadband, Wi‑Fi and voice services at customer sites, becoming a trusted expert who ensures a seamless setup and activation.

The role offers a dynamic day‑to‑day schedule, continual training, and opportunities to grow within a large national provider. Expect to work evenings and weekends, lift up to 60 lbs, and drive to customer locations.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs and work in small spaces.
• Valid state driver's license required.
• Eligible for pre-employment assessment.
• Willing to work evenings, weekends, and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Install high-speed broadband, Wi‑Fi, and voice services at customers’ homes or businesses.
• Provide great customer service and resolve installation issues.
• Attend paid training and ongoing skill development.

Our Installation Technicians earn between $17.26 and $31.00 an hour.Our average starting salary is $35,906 per year. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers.

Want to be considered?You’llneed to:

• Work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends

• Possess a valid state driver’s license

• Lift and move up-to 60lbs– some of our ladders weigh 50-60lbs

• Weigh less than 325 lbs.,requiredfor ladder safety

• At times work in small spaces or aloft (up to 28 ft.)

• Be available for overtime, emergency calloutsand holiday work
