Job summary

AT&T in Reno, NV is interviewing for Installation Technicians during an open recruiting session. You will install high‑speed broadband, Wi‑Fi and voice services at customer sites, meeting new people daily and delivering best‑in‑class service.

The role offers a generous sign‑on bonus and wage opportunities with a typical starting range shown by our postings. Training is provided and overtime/weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift and move up to 60 lbs.
• Weight under 325 lbs for ladder safety.
• Work in tight spaces or aloft up to 28 ft.
• Overtime, emergency callouts and holiday work may be required.
• Identify wire and cable colors.
• Qualify on pre‑employment assessments.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Install the latest technology for high‑speed broadband, Wi‑Fi and voice services at customers’ homes and businesses.
• Work independently as a trusted expert and meet new people daily.
• Assist customers and ensure a smooth installation and activation process.

With our amazing wage opportunities, our average starting earnings begin at $57,970 per year. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.

What’s a typical day like? You’ll work independently at our customers’ homes and businesses as a trusted expert, installing the latest technology for high-speed broadband, Wi-Fi, and voice services. You’ll have the opportunity to meet new people every day while solving problems and being rewarded for doing great work. Whether you’re putting in a new line, climbing a ladder or simply plugging in and activating a Wi‑Fi network, one thing is true, no two days will be the same.

Want to be considered? You’ll need to:

• Work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Possess a valid statedriver’s license.
• Lift and move up‑to 60 lbs. – some of our ladders weigh 50‑60 lbs.
• Weigh less than 325lbs., required for ladder safety.
• At times work in small spaces or aloft (up to 28 ft.)
• Be available for overtime, emergency callouts and holiday work.
• Identify wire and cable colors.

Sign‑on bonus is paid out as follows:

• $ 2,500 after completion of one (1) year of service(Employee must have no COBC violations and no written disciplinary actions
