Job summary

AT&T is seeking an Installation Technician to deliver and activate high-speed broadband services at customer homes and businesses in Huntsville, Alabama. You will install, configure, and connect the latest technology, ensuring top-tier service and customer satisfaction.

The role offers a path for growth within a dynamic, field-based team. You will work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends, with comprehensive benefits and a $5,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid state driver’s license.
• Ability to lift and move up to 60 lbs.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends.
• Ability to identify wire and cable colors.

Responsibilities

• Install and activate high-speed broadband, Wi‑Fi, and voice services at customer locations.
• Interact with customers professionally while solving problems and delivering great service.
• Work independently as a trusted technician conducting installations and activations.

Our Installation Technicians earn between $17.25 - $31.00 per hour. With our amazing wage opportunities, our average starting earnings begin at $64,480. per year. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.

What’s a typical day like? You’ll work independently at our customer’s homes and businesses as a trusted expert, installing the latest technology for high-speed broadband, Wi‑Fi, and voice services. You’ll have the opportunity to meet new people every day while solving problems and being rewarded for doing great work. Whether you’re putting in a new line, climbing a ladder or simply plugging in and activating a wifi network, one thing is true, no two days will be the same.

• Work a flexible schedule, including evenings andweekends.
• Possess a valid state driver’slicense.
• Lift and move up-to 60 lbs – some of our ladders weigh 50-60 lbs
• Weigh less than 325 lbs., required for laddersafety.
• At times work in smallspaces or aloft (up to 28 ft.)
• Be available for overtime, emergency callouts and holidaywork.
• Identify wire and cablecolors.
• Qualify on pre-employmentassessments.

**Sign-on bonus is paid out as follows:

Payout Schedule:

• $ 1,000 after completion of ninety (90) days of service (Employee must have no COBC violations and no written disciplinary actions)
• $ 1,500 after completion of six (6) months of service (Employee must have no COBC violations and no written disciplinary actions)
• $ 2,500 after completion of one (1) year of service (Employee must have no COBC violations and no written disciplinary actions
