CONSTRUCTION - Field Technical Representative This is a training position for someone interested in the construction industry.

Tremco Construction Products Group combines various divisions and brands, including Tremco CPG Inc., Dryvit, Nudura, Willseal, Prebuck LLC, Weatherproofing Technologies, Inc., Weatherproofing Technologies Canada, and PureAir Control Services. The group operates 21 manufacturing facilities, 6 distribution sites, 3 R&D/technology sites, and employs over 2,700 people across North America.

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

Tremco CPG seeks a motivated and enthusiastic entry-level Field Technical Associate to join our dynamic Field Support team. This role is designed for individuals with limited or no prior technical field experience but who are eager to learn and excel in a technical environment. Candidates with a hands-on approach and curiosity about how things work are encouraged to apply. The selected candidate will undergo comprehensive training to develop technical support skills, product knowledge, and customer service expertise. This is an excellent opportunity for professional growth in a technical field.

You must live in the Miami / Ft Lauderdale area and be available to travel within the territory.

3RD ANNUAL ASSOCIATE PROGRAM:

Starting between June 1st and August 1st, participants will learn, train, and grow alongside current and past program cohorts. Starting salaries are estimated between $60,000 and $65,000, with up to 15% bonus potential. Each associate will have a mentor and opportunities to shadow experienced team members. After two years, graduates will be promoted to manage their own territory, responsibilities, and sales targets, with bonus opportunities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Participate in structured training on products, industry, and field support techniques.
• Shadow experienced team members to learn effective support strategies.
• Assist in recommending products and solutions to customers.
• Provide site support to customers.
• Stay technically updated on procedures and techniques.
• Communicate regularly with sales colleagues about field insights.
• Join sales calls to observe and assist.
• Collect data for testing and interpret results.
• Coordinate third-party testing and certifications.
• Assist in training sessions and create demonstrations for internal and external audiences.
• Ensure designs and applications comply with codes and standards.
• Attend technical meetings and training to stay current.

EDUCATION:

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree, trade certification, or Bachelor’s degree preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

• 1-2 years of technical support experience or training.
• Construction experience preferred.
• Alternatively, a bachelor’s degree with technical aptitude will be considered.
• Understanding of field-testing methods is a plus.

• Salary range: $60,000 - $65,000 plus 15% bonus, based on qualifications and company needs.
