Job summary

AT&T in Los Angeles, CA is hiring Installation Technicians responsible for installing high‑speed broadband, Wi‑Fi, and voice services at customers’ homes and businesses. You’ll work independently as a trusted expert, meeting new people daily and solving problems while earning a strong hourly wage and benefits.

Typical day involves installation, activation, and customer interaction with safety and ladder protocols.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Possess a valid state driver’s license.
• Lift and move up to 60 lbs; ladders can weigh 50–60 lbs.
• Occasionally work in small spaces or aloft (up to 28 ft).
• Be available for overtime, emergency callouts and holidays.
• Identify wire and cable colors.
• Complete pre-employment assessments.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Installation Technicians earn between $22 and $35.65 hourly. With our amazing wage opportunities, our average starting earnings begin at $58,824 per year. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.

Qualifications

• Work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Possess a valid state driver’s license.
• Lift and move up-to 60 lbs. – some of our ladders weigh 50-60 lbs.
• Weigh less than 325 lbs., required for ladder safety.
• At times work in small spaces or aloft (up to 28 ft.)
• Be available for overtime, emergency callouts and holiday work.
• Identify wire and cable colors.
• Qualify on pre-employment assessments.
• Have a High School Diploma or GED.
