Job Overview: We are seeking an Automatic Door Repair and Install Technician to join our Houston branch. Our technicians repair, maintain, and install doors in various settings including commercial buildings, hospitals, and retail stores. We welcome candidates with backgrounds in residential or commercial doors, garage doors, construction, military, electrical work, fabrication, access control, glazing, carpentry, mechanical, or similar skilled trades. We provide all necessary training, tools, equipment, and vehicles.

Responsibilities:

1. Learn to install, repair, and maintain doors, turnstiles, revolving doors, and other entrance or security products.
2. Take initiative by proactively assisting in projects and demonstrating autonomy in a high-expectation, low-supervision environment.
3. Embrace learning opportunities from trainers to build on existing skills and show a desire to grow.
4. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional worksite, paying attention to detail and ensuring quality workmanship.
5. Coordinate with office staff to order and track parts, materials, and service time.

Qualifications:

1. Valid, unrestricted driver’s license with a clean driving record.
2. High school diploma or GED.
3. Experience with power tools and hand tools; preferred backgrounds include carpentry, electrical, military, HVAC, or similar fields.
4. Ability to stand, bend, climb, lift over 75 pounds, and work at heights using ladders.
5. Successful completion of background check and drug screening; vaccinations may be required.

Locations:

Opportunities available in Charlotte, Greensboro, Raleigh (NC); Columbia (SC); Atlanta (GA); Birmingham (AL); Lake Worth (FL); Dallas and Houston (TX). Some travel up to 2 hours to job sites may be required.
