Duties and Responsibilities:

• Preassemble, test, troubleshoot, and prepare industrial equipment and systems in the shop.
• Install, configure, commission, and start up equipment at customer facilities.
• Work with fluid‑transfer systems, coating lines, curing ovens, material‑handling equipment, overhead rail systems, robotics, and related technologies.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, equipment manuals, and bills of materials.
• Coordinate with engineering staff to verify system requirements and resolve technical issues.
• Test completed systems to confirm proper operation and production readiness.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical equipment.
• Operate hand and power tools, forklifts, scissor lifts, ladders, and scaffolding safely.
• Follow company, OSHA, and customer safety requirements, including procedures for working with coatings, chemicals, heights, and confined spaces.
• Monitor project timelines and provide clear progress updates during shop preparation and field installation.
• Maintain accurate records of labor hours, expenses, materials, and inventory.
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, technicians, and customer personnel throughout each project.
• Train customers on the basic operation and maintenance of installed equipment.
• Travel to customer locations, including overnight travel, as required.
• Work independently or as part of an installation crew with limited direct supervision.
