Job summary

California Closets is hiring an Installation Tech to install residential storage systems and accessories using luxury materials. The role requires hands-on carpentry experience, measurement skills, and a commitment to exemplary customer service in clients' homes.

You will work with CAD drawings, assemble systems, and ensure safety standards on every job. Training and tools are provided, with opportunities for growth within a family-owned franchise network.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Strong verbal and written communication and listening skills are essential.
• Experience with common hand and power tools is required.
• Cabinetry or carpentry skills are desirable for installing custom storage systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform skilled carpentry to install closets, cabinets, offices, and other home spaces.
• Follow CAD drawings/blueprints to install systems accurately.
• Assemble and install systems of varying complexity.
• Assist in removal and installation of materials in client homes.
• Maintain shop tools and equipment in safe condition; tools provided.

Job Description

The Installation Tech installs custom designed residential storage systems and accessories using a variety of luxury materials. A successful candidate will have experience with hand and power tools, measurements and the ability to provide exceptional customer service to our clients.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform skilled and semi-skilled carpentry work to install custom storage systems such as closets, cabinets, offices, and other spaces in the home or commercial buildings.
• Utilize company-provided CAD drawings\blueprints to install systems properly and efficiently.
• Assemble and install systems of varying complexity.
• Assists in the removal and installation of materials in customer homes.
• Maintain shop tools and equipment in safe working order(tools are provided).
• Install systems independently or with team members depending on the size of the job.
• Provide a high level of customer service for in-home installations.
• Maintain safety standards at all time.
• Responsible for driving to and from customer sites and operating a company-provided vehicles in a safe manner.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication and listening skills
• Able to walk, lift 50 pounds, reach, stoop, stand, grasp, balance, climb stairs, kneel, and crouch
