Job summary

California Closets is hiring an Installation Tech for on-site work in Colorado, Englewood area. You will install custom storage systems using luxury materials, read CAD drawings, and deliver high-level customer service.

The role requires physical work, driving to sites, and occasional overnights. The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule with 8–9 hour days, starting at 6:30 a.m., with benefits including health insurance, PTO/holidays, and a 401(k) plan with company match.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with hand and power tools preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team.

Responsibilities

• Install custom storage systems (closets, cabinets, offices) in homes or commercial spaces.
• Utilize CAD drawings for installation planning and execution.
• Assemble and install systems of varying complexity.
• Assist in removing and installing materials in customer homes.
• Maintain shop tools and equipment in safe condition and transport to sites.
• Provide excellent in-home customer service and follow safety standards.

Job Description

The Installation Tech installs custom designed residential and commercial storage systems and accessories using a variety of luxury materials. A successful candidate will have experience with hand and power tools, measurements and the ability to provide exceptional customer service to our client.

• This pay for this opportunity is $25-$27/hr***
• This is a Monday-Friday opportunity working 8-9 hour days starting at 6:30a***
• Occasional overnights are required***

Duties And Responsibilities

• Perform skilled and semi-skilled carpentry work to install custom storage systems such as closets, cabinets, offices, and other spaces in the home or commercial buildings.
• Utilize company-provided CAD drawings\\blueprints to install systems properly and efficiently.
• Assemble and install systems of varying complexity.
• Assists in the removal and installation of materials in customer homes.
• Maintain shop tools and equipment in safe working order (tools are provided).
• Install systems independently or with team members depending on the size of the job.
• Provide a high level of customer service for in‑home installations.
• Maintain safety standards at all time.
• Responsible for driving to and from customer sites and operating a company‑provided vehicles in a safe manner.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

• Must maintain a valid driver's license and clean driving record
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Experience with common hand and power tools
• Trade or vocational school experience desirable
• Cabinetry or carpentry skills desirable
• Strong verbal and written communication and listening skills
• Able to walk, lift 50 pounds, reach, stoop, stand, grasp, balance, climb stairs, kneel, and crouch
