One Hour is seeking a Lead Installation Technician in Elk Grove to oversee the complete installation of residential HVAC systems. You will guide an Assistant Installation Technician, communicate with customers, and ensure satisfaction while adhering to safety and company standards.

The role requires at least 3 years of verifiable installation experience, knowledge of HVAC systems, and the ability to read diagrams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of verifiable installation work history.
• Strong knowledge of residential HVAC operation.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and troubleshoot electrical/duct systems.
• Solid communication and customer service skills.

Job Resposibilities:

The Lead Installation Technician should be responsible for the complete and satisfactory installation of residential HVAC equipment and accessories. Oversees the work of Assistant Installation Technician to ensure work is performed correctly, communicates with customers to answer questions, resolve problems, and ensure complete customer satisfaction. Primary Responsibilities:

• Installs heating, air conditioning, and ventilation equipment, as well as accessories, in accordance with company standards/ requirements and manufacturer specifications.
• Designs, fabricates, and installs various ducts and duct fittings, as necessary.
• Performs limited diagnostics, as necessary.
• Effectively communicates with customer regarding questions, concerns, and problems.
• Trains apprentices
• Install duct work transitions in sheet metal and ductboard.
• Install gas lines, flue pipes, and wiring high and low voltage wiring applications as well as run flue liners.
• Maintain safety and quality as a top priority by
• Following safety policies and procedures.
• Abiding by ALL One Hour standards of performance and code of ethics.
• Maintaining a courteous demeanor with all customers and associates
• Maintaining company vehicle, ensuring cleanliness and organization, both inside and out.

Suggested/Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Must have a minimum of 3 years of verifiable installation work history.
• Knowledge of the fundamental of operational functionality of residential heating, air conditioning, and ventilation equipment.
• Knowledge of the layout and installation requirements of residential duct work and fittings.
• Skilled in reading wiring diagrams and troubleshooting problems with electrical, refrigerant, and duct systems on residential HVAC equipment.
• Solid communication and customer service skills. Must have appropriate trade tools.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record. Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
