One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning in Elk Grove is seeking a Lead Installation Technician to manage the complete installation of residential HVAC equipment and accessories, supervise an Assistant Installation Technician, and ensure customer satisfaction through clear communication.

The role requires at least 3 years of verifiable installation experience, EPA/NATE/HVAC certifications, the ability to read wiring diagrams, install ducts, gas lines, and perform high/low voltage work plus a clean

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years verifiable installation experience.
• Knowledge of residential HVAC operation and installation requirements.
• Able to read wiring diagrams and troubleshoot electrical, refrigerant and duct systems.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills; own trade tools required.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record; able to pass background and drug screens.

Responsibilities

• Installs HVAC equipment and accessories per standards and manufacturer specs.
• Oversees the work of an Assistant Installation Technician to ensure quality.
• Communicates with customers to answer questions and resolve issues.
• Trains apprentices and supports safety and best practices.
• Designs and installs duct work; runs gas lines, flue pipes, and wiring as needed.

Job Resposibilities

The Lead Installation Technician should be responsible for the complete and satisfactory installation of residential HVAC equipment and accessories. Oversees the work of Assistant Installation Technician to ensure work is performed correctly, communicates with customers to answer questions, resolve problems, and ensure complete customer satisfaction. Primary Responsibilities:

• Installs heating, air conditioning, and ventilation equipment, as well as accessories, in accordance

With Company Standards/ Requirements and Manufacturer Specifications.

• Designs, fabricates, and installs various ducts and duct fittings, as necessary.
• Performs limited diagnostics, as necessary.
• Effectively communicates with customer regarding questions, concerns, and problems.
• Trains apprentices
• Install duct work transitions in sheet metal and ductboard.
• Install gas lines, flue pipes, and wiring high and low voltage wiring applications as well run flue liners.

Maintain safety and quality as a top priority by

• Following safety policies and procedures.
• Abiding by ALL One Hour standards of performance and code of ethics.
• Maintaining a courteous demeanor with all customers and associates

Suggested/Required Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

• Must have a minimum of 3 years of verifiable installation work history.
• Knowledge of the fundamental of operational functionality of residential heating, air conditioning, and ventilation equipment.
• Knowledge of the layout and installation requirements of residential duct work and fittings.
• Skilled in reading wiring diagrams and troubleshooting problems with electrical, refrigerant, and duct systems on residential HVAC equipment.
• Solid communication and customer service skills. Must have appropriate trade tools.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record. Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
