Job summary

AUTOMATED GATE SERVICES INC. in Corona, CA seeks an experienced Technician to install and service gates, operators and access controls. You will work with the installations team daily to complete projects and keep the team updated on job status through our software.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in the field, can fabricate and install high-end gates, motors and access controls, communicates clearly, and is available for on-call after hours. A clean driving record is required.

General Purpose:

Our Technicians are the backbone of our Company. In many cases our highly skilled Technicians are the first impression our Company makes on our valued customers. Our Technicians have a great attitude while having a strong technical aptitude to get our customers up and running quickly. The Technician should maintain a professional image and be well groomed and mannered.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Work with Installations team daily to complete installation projects
• Keep team up to date via our software on status of job completions
• Installation of gates, operators, and access controls
• Overcome obstacles when onsite completing projects
• Maintain proper inventory levels on truck
• Provide adequate scope of work performed
• Good housekeeping skills – jobsite, truck and shop
• Work safely and drive safely

Requirements

Industry specific field experience of 5+ years. Able to fabricate and install all types of high-end gates. Experienced in installing all types of gates, motors and access controls. Strong communication skills, both oral and written. Available for on-call rotation to handle after-hour service requests. Clean driving and background records.
