Job summary

Global Channel Management is seeking an Installation Technician with 2+ years in Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical installation to perform field installs on mass transit vehicles. You will install CAD/AVL equipment and components, routing wires and ensuring adherence to design intent and industry standards.

The role requires travel (domestic and possible international) and close collaboration with the VIE Designer to meet customer needs and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Installation Technician needs minimum 2 years related Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical Installation experience.
• Travel and field experience required.
• Understanding of vehicle component wiring is a plus.
• Clear understanding of wires, connectors, cable routing, circuit design, accepted industry standards and protocols, electrical layout and drafting, as well as simple mechanical installation.
• Installer will work closely with the VIE Designer to ensure proper installations per design intent and customer standards.
• Subject to extensive domestic travel; international travel is possible.
