Howland & Lawrence Chamber Services carries forward the legacy of The Howland Company (1974-2023) by delivering high-quality customer support and building relationships with clients to meet their technical and business goals. The company specializes in service for leading chamber and absorber suppliers, including Lindgren, Universal, AP Americas, Panashield, Cuming Microwave, AEMI, Satimo, ETS, Emerson & Cuming, and others. With deep knowledge of these products, our team understands each system's unique requirements and tailors service accordingly. Howland & Lawrence provides service and repair, preventive maintenance, relocation, and removal of RF anechoic chambers, shielded enclosures, and screen rooms. We offer reliable, expert support to commercial and government clients across the RF test & measurement community. Our recent clients include the US Air Force, Army, and Navy as well as Ubiquiti, Microwave Vision Group, Garmin, Taoglas, Analog Devices, Ezurio, Motorola Solutions, and others we can't name here.
We are recruiting experienced and motivated Installation Technicians to support installation, relocation, service, and maintenance of RF shielded anechoic chambers and related equipment. Travel to client sites across the USA and occasionally internationally will be part of every project. US citizenship is required. On-site tasks will vary with the specific project but may include performing equipment installations, running and organizing cabling, alignments and calibration, performing preventive maintenance, and assisting with relocation or removal of chambers. The role involves diagnosing technical issues, conducting troubleshooting and repairs, and assisting with preparation of service reports. Senior Installation Technicians will interact directly with clients on-site, provide clear communication about work status and findings, and support high levels of customer satisfaction through professional service and support. You can expect to interact closely with related trades as well, including electrical, HVAC, and (especially) fire protection. And if you have, or want to develop, expertise in IEEE-299, VSWR, and similar test methods and procedures, we'd certainly like to talk.
