MM Solutions in Loveland, CO is seeking an experienced assembler to support manufacturing for aerospace, medical, and high-tech industries. You will assemble racks, fixtures, and instruments and wire test systems.

You will read mechanical and electrical drawings, use hand and small power tools, and maintain neat, on-time work. Collaboration with engineering and prep for shipment are essential.

Formación

• Minimum 2 years to 4 years of experience in mechanical assembly or related field.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings (blueprints).
• Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Proficient with hand and small power tools and color differentiation.

Responsabilidades

• Integrate racks, fixtures, and instruments per documentation/drawings.
• Build and wire test systems with cables (GPIB, LAN, RF, SIGNAL, POWER).
• Ensure strain relief, bend radius, and neat appearance; label and document changes.
• Collaborate with engineering on fit and electrical issues; update drawings as needed.
• Prepare systems for shipment: photograph, clean, and finalize packaging.

Position Summary

Apply mechanical theory and technical skills to support manufacturing activities. Develop tools, implement designs, and integrate custom systems for the Aerospace and Defense Industry.

Requirements

Essential Job Duties

• Integrate racks and instruments as shown in the documentation and/or drawings.
• Primary responsibility is the building and wiring of test systems (referred to as integration).
• Install wiring to include a variety of cable systems (GPIB, LAN, RF, SIGNAL, and POWER).
• Install each of these systems with the correct strain relief, bend radius, support, and look neat and organized.
• Work with engineering on any issues in both the mechanical fit or electrical/electronic issues and Red Line the drawings with any changes approved during integration.
• Ability to do the work in the allotted time as suggested by the quote workbook.
• Ability to work in a neat and proficient manner.
• Ability to work with delicate connections and cables.
• Prepare the system for shipment. Photograph, clean, and do final prep work for shipping.

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

• Primarily mechanical assembly but knowledge of electronics and electricity is recommended.
• Ability to assemble racks, fixtures, and instruments.
• Ability to read and comprehend written and oral instructions.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings (blueprints)
• Planning & organizing skills: Ability to understand the order that the system is built and keep material neat and organized. Also need to be aware of the timeline and complete the assignment on time.
• Decision making & problem-solving skills. Ability to understand problems and alternate solutions or know when to call in engineering support.
• Customer Service Skills. Ability to understand the customer’s desires and be willing to work to their specifications and timeline.
• Teamwork. Ability to work as part of a larger team and be able to work in cross functional teams.
• Must be very detailed orientated and accurate. We serve a very elite client base that has very high expectations of what we deliver, both in function and overall appearance.
• Skillful with hand and small power tools.
• Knowledge of standard and metric hardware.
• Must be reliable and responsible.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, and basic computer skills.
• Ability to distinguish colors

Education And Experience Preferred

• Some higher education or specialized training/certification.
• A minimum of 2 years- 4 years of experience.
• An understanding of general and technical aspects of the job.
