Job summary

DenTech Industrial seeks a field installation technician to install equipment at customer facilities across a five-state radius, including periods away from home. You will follow installation schedules, perform millwright duties, and handle tools and welding tasks as needed.

Travel and overnight stays are common; safety, strong communication, and professional conduct are essential. You’ll also assist with vehicle maintenance and occasional facility tasks.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of related experience preferred.
• Mobility and flexibility to travel within a 5-state radius including overnight stays.
• Ability to handle stressful situations and identify/solve field problems.
• Strong communication skills and professional etiquette.
• Ability to work with little supervision.
• Maintain a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Install projects at customers' facilities using provided resources.
• Understand installation schedule and adapt to frequent changes.
• Perform general millwright and rigging tasks.
• Use hand tools and portable power equipment safely.
• Welding experience (MIG, STICK, TIG) and torch use preferred.
• Work from heights and in the elements; maintain safety.
• Ensure safety of co-workers and others on site.
• Respect customer site policies and rules.
• Assist supervisor to resolve problems and roadblocks.
• Attend training courses as deemed necessary.
• Maintain a professional image and vehicle upkeep.
• Make small pickups and deliveries; perform facility maintenance.
• Other duties as assigned.

Please note: This position requires mobility and flexibility to travel to customer locations within a 5-state radius, including overnight stays for weeks at a time.

Responsible for installing equipment and materials sold by DenTech. Responsible for assisting the Field Leader to perform their duties as directed by DenTech and the customer.

Responsibilities

• Install projects at our customers' facilities using resources provided
• Understand our installation schedule and its frequent changes
• General millwright and rigging responsibilities
• Experienced use of hand tools and portable power equipment
• Welding experience, MIG, Stick, and TIG and use of a torch is preferred
• Working from heights (ladders, lift equipment, roofs, silos, etc)
• Working in the elements (excessive heat, rain, snow, etc)
• Responsible to work safely and ensure co-workers and other person(s) in the immediate area are working safely
• Respect our customers' policies and jobsite rules
• Assist supervisor to solve problems and roadblocks when presented
• Attend training courses as deemed necessary
• Maintain a professional image
• Maintain company vehicles as required (i.e., fuel levels, oil changes, general maintenance, etc.
• Perform general maintenance at our facility
• Make small pick-ups and deliveries
• Other duties as assigned
