Job summary

DenTech, Inc. is seeking a fabrication/welding technician to assemble, maintain, and install structural units and piping systems. The role involves indoor work and frequent on-site travel to outdoor construction areas, with emphasis on safety and quality.

The candidate will fabricate parts from drawings, weld using MIG, Stick, and TIG processes, including stainless sanitary pipes, and operate various hand tools. On-the-job training and teamwork are integral to success in this position.

Qualifications

• Must have pipe welding experience and/or certifications.
• Experience with fabrication and welding per drawings.
• Ability to work safely with others and in various environments.
• Willingness to travel to indoor and outdoor job sites.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate parts using supplied drawings per supervisor’s instructions.
• Load/unload trucks when necessary.
• Fit and weld parts together using supplied drawings per supervisor’s instructions.
• Operate hand tools and portable power equipment safely.
• Welding experience including MIG, Stick, TIG, stainless steel sanitary pipe, and use of a torch.
• Work from ladders and maintain safety on site.
• Maintain quality while staying productive and positive.
• Attend training courses as deemed necessary.
• Assist in training new staff.
• Maintain a professional appearance and conduct.

Job description

The successful candidate will have the ability to assemble, maintain, and install structural units and piping systems, working both indoor and on-site, frequently traveling to outdoor construction/jobsite environments.

Responsible to fabricate and weld purchased materials to create a usable product while maintaining a high quality, speed, and safe work environment.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate parts using supplied drawings per supervisor’s instructions
• Load/unload trucks when necessary
• Fit and weld parts together using supplied drawings per supervisor’s instructions
• Experienced use of hand tools and portable power equipment
• Welding experience including MIG, Stick, TIG, stainless steel sanitary pipe, and use of a torch
• Working from ladders
• Responsible to work safely and ensure co-workers and other person(s) in the immediate area are working safely
• Maintain a high degree of quality while staying focused and productive and contributing to a friendly work environment
• Solve problems and roadblocks efficiently when presented
• Attend training courses as deemed necessary
• Assist in training new staff
• Maintain a professional appearance
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must have pipe welding experience and/or certifications in previous positions
• Related on-the-job experience or schooling preferred
