Job summary

Bosch Building Technologies North America is seeking an Installation Supervisor - Networking to oversee planning, staffing, execution, and quality delivery of multiple AV installation projects. You will forecast labor, review risks, manage QA/QC, and ensure documentation and closeout activities are completed while driving continuous improvement across field teams.

The role requires strong leadership, adherence to safety procedures, and ability to coordinate with Project Managers to start

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in the respective discipline.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience.
  • Experience with Word, Excel, and Outlook preferred.
  • Ability to obtain certifications: Hilti, Fall Protection, Scissor/Boom Lift, Confined Space; OSHA30 beneficial.

Responsibilities

  • Represent the Company professionally to maximize client satisfaction.
  • Follow all policies and procedures, including safety manual.
  • Maintain accurate records and on-time documentation.
  • Schedule and forecast labor for multiple projects and coordinate with PMs.
  • Review contracted scope of work against site plans and identify red flags.
  • Ensure QA/QC, safety, and training plans are followed across teams.
  • Monitor project status, ensure As-Builts and documentation are uploaded.
  • Develop team training and conduct post-project reviews.
  • Assist Project Management/Field team to resolve project and installation issues.

The successful candidate is a proactive leader who drives operational excellence, resolves project challenges, and fosters continuous improvement across project and field teams.

Responsibilities
  • Represent the Company in a business-like professional manner in both conduct and appearance, to maximize client satisfaction.
  • Demonstrate and enforce all policies and procedures.
  • Work in compliance with the Company’s policies and procedures including safety manual with safety of self and others in mind at all times.
  • Maintain and protect assigned Company assets.
  • Accurate written record keeping, submitted on time and complete, expense reports and other required documentation.
  • Available to work outside of, or in addition to, normal businesses hours.
  • Schedule labor resources for multiple ongoing projects.
    • Forecast labor ahead of time and communicate scheduling needs to PC for Schedule board input. Proactive over Reactive
  • Work with Project Managers to ensure projects are kicked off properly and any deficiencies are identified.
    • Review contracted scope of work against site plans, identify any red flags
    • Review/create SLD’s as required
    • Review schedule against estimated hours and identify roadblocks
  • Identify change order opportunities and communicate these back to Project Manager.
  • Responsible to ensure all aspects of the installation are completed in an effective and consistent fashion.
    • To include - QA/QC enforcement, safe practices, training plans, all operational team meetings (PM, Field, etc.)
  • Monitor job status, ensures As-Builts are delivered, ensure programming files/documentation are uploaded to Sharepoint and final closeout documents are vetted prior to closeout.
  • Develop team trainings to ensure our teams are constantly being developed.
    • Work with onsite teams and identify areas of growth and suggest training opportunities that could help develop the team
  • Participate in after action reviews to ensure all applicable project information is downloaded to help improve our teams’ efficiencies.
  • Assist with resolving project, installation and operational issues with the Project Management/Field team and work closely with Project Managers to ensure completion of the projects.
Supervisor Duties

In accordance with applicable Company policies/procedures and Federal/State laws, will perform the following supervisory responsibilities: planning, assigning, and directing work; coaching and appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in respective discipline
  • 5+ years of leadership experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to obtain Hilti, Fall Protection, Scissor/Boom Lift, Confined Space Certifications
  • Ability to obtain OSHA30.
Physical Demands
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, climb, walk, sit, push, pull, squat, crawl, and stoop. The employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, feel objects, and type on keyboard; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The use of power tools will be required to effectively perform this position. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and may be required to work at heights over 1.8m (6 feet)
Working Conditions
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be exposed to outdoor weather conditions, work on job sites, may be required to travel to and from job site locations, may work in a typical office environment, and is occasionally exposed to construction equipment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Confined space entry may be required. High work may be required.
Additional Information
  • Working Hours: This position generally works Monday- Friday, overtime and on call when necessary.
  • Travel Requirements: Local travel.
