Job summary

Convergint is seeking a full-time Installation Supervisor in Carrollton, TX to lead the installation team on Fire, Security, and Building Automation projects. You will supervise programming, startup, certification, and customer training while maintaining project budgets and schedules.

Qualifications

• High School/GED or equivalent.
• Minimum 5-7 years relevant experience.
• Supervisory experience preferred in construction/electrical or low-voltage work.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the installation team and oversee the installation process, including programming, start-up/check-out, certification, and related customer training on Fire, Security, and Building Automation projects.
• Ensure delivery of projects within budgeted cost and time schedules; maximize customer satisfaction.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.

• Responsible for supervising the installation team and oversees the installation process including programming, system start-up/check-out, certification, and related customer training on assigned Fire, Security, and/or Building Automation projects.
• Ensures delivery of projects effectively and within budgeted cost and time schedules. Accountable for maximizing customer satisfaction.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.

What You’ll Need

• Proficient construction skills and understanding of system plans.
• Excellent understanding of blueprints, design drawings including wiring and labeling methods, system wiring, wiring methods, and cable support installation (J-Hook, Raceway, Conduit, Cable Support).
• Very familiar with basic blueprints, schematics, manuals, and other specifications to determine installation procedures unassisted.
• Basic technical programming skills.

Requirements

Education: High School/GED or equivalent experience

Minimum Experience: 5-7 years relevant

Preferred Experience

• Previous supervisory
• Construction including some level of electrical or a low voltage background
• Experience in 1 or more of the following industries: electronic/electrical, fire alarm & life safety, data-cable installation and/or building automation
