Job summary

Convergint Technologies LLC in North Charleston, SC is seeking a full-time Installation Supervisor to lead our installation team across fire, security, and building automation projects.

You will oversee start-up, certifications, and customer training, ensuring on-time delivery and quality. The role requires 5–7 years of relevant experience and a strong construction and electrical background. Join our culture of growth and service.

Qualifications

• Education: High School or GED or equivalent experience.
• Minimum experience: 5-7 years relevant.
• Preferred experience: construction with electrical or low voltage background; experience in fire/life safety, data-cable installation, or building automation.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the installation team and oversee start-up, checkout, certification, and training on Fire, Security, and/or Building Automation projects.
• Ensure projects are delivered within budget and on schedule, maximizing customer satisfaction.
• Promote Recruit Awesome People program and foster a colleague-first culture.
• Perform other duties as requested.

What you’ll do with "Our Training and Your Experience"

• Responsible for supervising the installation team and oversees the installation process including programming, system start-up/check-out, certification, and related customer training on assigned Fire, Security, and/or Building Automation projects.
• Ensures delivery of projects effectively and within budgeted cost and time schedules. Accountable for maximizing customer satisfaction.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.

What You’ll Need

• Proficient construction skills and understanding of system plans.
• Excellent understanding of blueprints, design drawings including wiring and labeling methods, system wiring, wiring methods, and cable support installation (J-Hook, Raceway, Conduit, Cable Support).
• Very familiar with basic blueprints, schematics, manuals, and other specifications to determine installation procedures unassisted.
• Basic technical programming skills.

Requirements:

Education: High School/GED or equivalent experience

Minimum Experience: 5-7 years relevant

Preferred Experience: (but not required):

• Construction including some level of electrical or a low voltage background
• Experience in 1 or more of the following industries: electronic/electrical, fire alarm & life safety, data-cable installation and/or building automation
