Job summary

Builders FirstSource, America’s largest supplier of building materials and services, seeks an Installation Project Manager to collaborate with clients and supervise teams across job sites. You will plan projects, schedule activities, visit sites, and ensure quality and on-time delivery.

The role requires strong planning, communication, and problem-solving skills to keep projects on budget and aligned with client expectations. BFS emphasizes collaboration, growth, and a people-first culture.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily.
• Familiarity with project planning and site coordination is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plans installation projects, establishing priorities and sequences for installed products.
• Visits job sites before, during, and after installations to ensure quality standards and timely completion.
• Confers with client to ensure satisfaction and communicates recommendations to Field Supervisor and Installation Manager.
• Reviews installation orders or schedules to ascertain resources necessary to complete project on time.
• Reviews reports and resolves problems to minimize costs and prevent installation delays.
• Develops or revises standard operating and working practices and observes workers to ensure compliance with standards.
• Compiles, stores, and retrieves production data.
• Other duties as assigned
