Who We Are

This is a Confidential job posting and more information about the company will be disclosed during next steps of the hiring process.

About the Role

We're seeking an Installation Project Coordinator with a strong technical foundation to support our growing network of installation projects across the U.S. This role is ideal for an individual with an engineering or technical background who is eager to develop project management expertise while working in a fast-paced, field-oriented environment.

The successful candidate will coordinate with municipalities, utilities, contractors, and internal engineering teams to ensure projects are properly planned, scheduled, documented, and executed. In addition to office-based project coordination, this role will spend significant time in the field during key installation phases—overseeing work, verifying site readiness, conducting technical assessments, and supporting troubleshooting efforts alongside senior technical personnel.

This position combines project management, technical review, and hands‑on field execution, providing valuable experience in installation management, engineering coordination, and infrastructure deployment.

Key Responsibilities
Project Coordination (Office-Based – ~60%)
  • Assist with scheduling and coordinating installation projects nationwide.
  • Communicate with municipalities, utilities, vendors, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment across all project phases.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including site readiness assessments, permitting documentation, installation reports, and closeout packages.
  • Track project milestones, delivery schedules, budgets, and contractor performance.
  • Support warranty and after‑sales activities by maintaining accurate records, field documentation, and photographic evidence.
  • Review, interpret, and apply technical drawings, engineering schematics, blueprints, and installation specifications to support project planning and execution.
  • Coordinate with engineering and technical teams to resolve design, installation, and site‑related issues.
  • Assist in evaluating technical requirements and ensuring project documentation accurately reflects field conditions.
Field Support (On‑Site – ~40%)
  • Travel to installation sites to support project execution and oversee contractor performance.
  • Perform site assessments, equipment inspections, and quality‑control reviews.
  • Verify site readiness, installation accuracy, and compliance with engineering specifications.
  • Assist with technical troubleshooting and problem resolution under the guidance of senior engineers and technicians.
  • Ensure installations comply with safety, regulatory, quality, and operational standards.
  • Evaluate site conditions and structural requirements, including basic assessment of stress loads, wind loads, anchoring requirements, and other environmental considerations.
  • Identify potential installation risks and communicate findings to project and engineering teams.
  • Provide detailed field reports, documentation, photographs, and recommendations to support continuous improvement initiatives.
What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, or a related technical field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in construction, field service, project coordination, or electrical installation.
  • Strong ability to read, interpret, and understand technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and engineering documentation.
  • Familiarity with basic structural engineering concepts, including stress analysis, wind load considerations, and site structural requirements.
  • Strong organizational and project coordination skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Hands‑on mindset—not afraid to actively participate in fieldwork when needed.
  • Ability to work outdoors and at heights (aerial lift experience is a plus).
  • Willingness to travel frequently across the U.S. to project sites as needed (up to 40–50%).
