Job summary
Holman is seeking an Installation Mechanic C in Bartlett, IL to install aftermarket equipment on service vehicles, build vehicles per prints, and safely mount electrical components. This role requires basic electrical work, 12V circuit understanding, and use of power tools.
A valid driver’s license and a positive attitude are required, with a 2,500 sign-on bonus and a 6:00 AM–2:30 PM shift. You will work on building and outfitting large quantities of fleet vehicles, test installations, and
Qualifications
- Familiarity with electrical schematics and 12V circuits.
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues.
- Proficiency with hand and power tools and basic electrical work.
Responsibilities
- Install aftermarket equipment on new service vehicles, vans, and trucks.
- Build vehicles following work instructions and prints.
- Safely mount and connect mechanical and electrical components.
- Perform basic electrical work (wiring, fuses, relays, and switches).
- Install strobe lights and related wiring; mount brackets and equipment.
- Test and verify all installed parts before final inspection.
- Complete all items on the work order; work on fleet vehicle outfitting.
