Job summary

Signarama Novi & Flint is expanding Fleet Graphics Detroit from a new Wixom facility. We seek a leader to build and run an installers career program, guide a crew of 5–8 in Wixom and Flint, and ensure top-quality installations across Southeast and Mid-Michigan.

You will balance field work (about 30–40%) with program development, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency while living our core values.

Qualifications

5+ years of commercial field installation experience.
2+ years leading crews, people and field processes.
Hands-on electrical experience with illuminated signs or line-voltage equipment.
Structural installation experience: anchoring and working at height.
Safe operation of bucket trucks and aerial lifts.
Valid Michigan driver’s license with insurable record.
Michigan Sign Specialist license or ability to earn one (company supports).
Vehicle wrap or fleet experience, or relevant certifications (3M/Avery Dennison).
Commercial electrical sign experience, welding, or multi-site rollout experience.
Familiarity with job-management software (Zoho and CoreBridge).

Responsibilities

Lead 5-8 in-house installers and subcontractors in Wixom and Flint, with authority to hire, coach, and discipline.
Develop and run the installer career program, including levels and assessments.
Coordinate a single install calendar across stores with project managers and production.
Ensure safety and proper equipment usage on every job.
Monitor labor performance by comparing actual install hours to estimates.
Spend ~30-40% of time in the field to maintain credibility.
